In Thursday's league battle, the host North Marion Huskies soccer squad scored a close 4-0 win over the Cascade Cougars.
The Huskies (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR). The Huskies go into the 4A Oregon West battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, Sweet Home by Philomath (Philomath, OR), 8-0, in a league battle.
The Cougars (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Newport (Newport, OR). The Cubs go into the 4A Oregon West battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Newport nipped Stayton (Stayton, OR), 7-0, in a league battle.
