North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Crater Comets (Central Point, OR), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Black Tornado face the Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR) in a 6A Southwest challenge, on Saturday, October 21. North Medford will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 6-1 league loss to South Eugene (Eugene, OR).

The Comets now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Springfield for a 5A Midwestern challenge on Saturday, October 21. Crater will face a Millers team coming off a 2-2 league Churchill (Eugene, OR). The Millers record now stands at 1-8.
