The Roswell Coyotes held off the visiting Carlsbad Cavemen volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Coyotes now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clovis for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 24. Roswell will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league win over Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-8.
The Cavemen (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Hobbs was nudged by Clovis (Clovis, NM), 2-0, in a league test.
