Virginia High School Volleyball - William Monroe can't hold off Harrisonburg

In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Harrisonburg Blue Streaks volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the William Monroe Dragons.
The Blue Streaks (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Broadway (Broadway, VA). The Gobblers come into the non-league battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Broadway was edged by Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Dragons clash with the Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 23. William Monroe will attempt to advance on its 11-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 4-13 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA).
