In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) volleyball team toppled the visiting Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Brentsville District went down by James Wood (Winchester, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Fauquier Falcons (Warrenton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 24. Liberty will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Skyline (Front Royal, VA).
