Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Islanders confront the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) in a Division 3 challenge, on Monday, October 23. Middletown will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Mounties enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to Prout (Wakefield, RI).

The Panthers now have a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they host Scituate for a Division 3 challenge on Tuesday, October 24. Johnston will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-2 league win over Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Spartans record now stands at 12-0.
