New York High School Soccer - Kellenberg Memorial knocks off St. John the Baptist

Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds (Uniondale, NY) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting St. John the Baptist Cougars (West Islip, NY), 4-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Firebirds face the St. Dominic Bayhawks (Oyster Bay, NY) in a NSCHAA challenge, on Friday, October 27. Kellenberg Memorial will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Bayhawks enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Mary's (Manhasset, NY).
The Cougars now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Chaminade for a NSCHAA challenge on Tuesday, October 24. St. John the Baptist will face a Flyers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to St. Anthony's (Melville, NY). The Flyers record now stands at 10-2.
