Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Salem Witches (Salem, MA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Big Blue face the Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA) in a Northeast challenge, on Monday, October 23. Swampscott will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Sachems enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Northeast Metro RVT (Wakefield, MA).

The Witches now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Danvers for a Northeast challenge on Wednesday, October 25. Salem will face a Falcons team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Beverly (Beverly, MA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-13.
