Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Leopards now own a 22-5 record.
With the loss, Haralson County falls to 16-11 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Walker (Marietta, GA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 19. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 13-8. Walker lost 16-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA)
