Georgia High School Softball - Screven County bounces Jefferson County

Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Gamecocks now own a 13-13 record. They take the field next when they host Temple for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 19. Screven County will face a Tigers squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Screven County (Sylvania, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 12-10.

With the loss, Jefferson County falls to 12-20 on the campaign.
