The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) and the host Shaw Raiders (Columbus, GA), saw LaGrange's softball squad nip Shaw by a count of 11-6.
The Grangers now sport a 16-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wayne County for a non-league match on Thursday, October 19. LaGrange will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over LaGrange (LaGrange, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 20-8.
With the loss, Shaw falls to 11-13 on the campaign.
