The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) and the host Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA), saw Godwin's volleyball squad beat Freeman by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Godwin upgrades its record to 12-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to play the Flying Flucos in a non-league bout on Monday, October 23. The Flying Flucos go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Fluvanna County won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)

The Mavericks now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Glen Allen for a Colonial bout on Tuesday, October 24.
