The Marfa Shorthorns topped the host Grandfalls-Royalty Cowboys volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Shorthorns now have a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buena Vista for a 1A Region I District 4 test on Tuesday, October 24. Marfa will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Fort Davis (Fort Davis, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 20-12.
The Cowboys (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Fort Davis (Fort Davis, TX). The Indians enter the 1A Region I District 4 test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Fort Davis gained a win over Buena Vista (Imperial, TX), 3-2, in a league test.
