In Saturday's league outing, the host Wayne Hills Patriots soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Lakeland Regional Lancers.

The Patriots (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ). The Cutters go into the North Jersey Tri-County A outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Fair Lawn was edged by Saddle River Day (Saddle River, NJ), 4-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Lancers play the West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Monday, October 21. Lakeland Regional will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Highlanders go into the outing with a 6-7 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Fort Lee (Fort Lee, NJ).
