In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Jackson Fighting Indians volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sikeston Bulldogs.

The Fighting Indians (21-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Poplar Bluff (Poplar Bluff, MO). The Mules come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Poplar Bluff lost by Saxony Lutheran (Jackson, MO), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Advance Hornets (Advance, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Sikeston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Bernie (Bernie, MO).
