Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA) supporters were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball team top the visiting Albia Blue Demons (Albia, IA), 2-0 in a league contest.

The Panthers (22-16) will now prepare for their contest against Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Norsemen enter the contest with a 25-4 record. In their last contest, Roland-Story notched a victory over Greene County (Jefferson, IA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Blue Demons battle the Pella Christian Eagles (Pella, IA) in a contest, on Saturday, October 19. Albia will attempt to move on its 20-12 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 20-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA).
