Louisiana High School Volleyball - Archbishop Chapelle over Pope John Paul II

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks (Metairie, LA) and the host Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA), witnessed Archbishop Chapelle's volleyball team gain a win over Pope John Paul II by a margin of 2-0.

The Chipmunks now possess a 19-12 record. They play next when they travel to Notre Dame for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 19. Archbishop Chapelle will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA). The Pioneers record now stands at 15-11.

With the loss, Pope John Paul II drops to 12-19 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Pine (Franklinton, LA) to clash with the Raiders in a Division IV District 8 bout on Tuesday, October 22. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 5-11. Pine lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Doyle (Livingston, LA)
