In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Carrollton Cavaliers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Au Gres-Sims Wolverines.

The Cavaliers (18-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-14 record. In their last challenge, Standish-Sterling lost by St. Louis (St. Louis, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines play the Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI) in a North Star challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Au Gres-Sims will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 3-2 league win over Hillman (Hillman, MI).
