In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Big Bay de Noc Black Bears volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Beaver Island Islanders.
The Black Bears (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mackinac Island (Mackinac Island, MI). The Lakers enter the non-league challenge with a 15-4 record. In their last challenge, Mackinac Island beat Whitefish Township (Paradise, MI), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
