The Floyd Central Highlanders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Bedford North Lawrence Stars to 0 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Highlanders now possess a 28-5 record. They play next when they travel to Providence for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 19. Floyd Central will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN). The Pioneers record now stands at 13-17.
