Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD) and the visiting Belle Fourche Broncs (Belle Fourche, SD), observed Douglas's volleyball team top Belle Fourche by a tally of 2-0.

The Patriots (11-17) will now prepare for their contest against Kadoka (Kadoka, SD). The Kougars enter the non-league contest with a 21-3 record. In their last contest, Kadoka beat Jones County (Murdo, SD), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Broncs meet the Bison Cardinals (Bison, SD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 19. Belle Fourche will attempt to upgrade on its 5-22 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 2-17 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] (Bowman, ND).
