In Saturday's league challenge, the host Elk Rapids Elks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Boyne City Ramblers.
The Elks (22-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Petoskey (Petoskey, MI). The Northmen come into the non-league challenge with a 18-9 record. In their last challenge, Petoskey lost by Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Ramblers play the Lake City Trojans (Lake City, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Boyne City will attempt to upgrade on its 28-12 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 11-21 record after their 3-2 league win over Houghton Lake (Houghton Lake, MI).
