Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Joseph Bears (St. Joseph, MI) and the visiting Bridgman Bees (Bridgman, MI), observed St. Joseph's volleyball team hold off Bridgman by a tally of 2-1.

The Bears (20-15) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgman (Bridgman, MI). The Bees enter the non-league contest with a 14-11 record. In their last contest, Bridgman was tipped by South Haven (South Haven, MI), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Bees meet the Decatur Raiders (Decatur, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 19. Bridgman will attempt to upgrade on its 15-13 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 25-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hartford (Hartford, MI).
