Colorado High School Volleyball - Lone Star tips Caliche

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Lone Star Longhorns volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Caliche Buffaloes.

The Longhorns (10-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Peetz (Peetz, CO). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-15 record. In their last challenge, Peetz was nudged by Weldon Valley (Weldona, CO), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Buffaloes meet the Springfield Longhorns (Springfield, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Caliche will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to La Veta (La Veta, CO).
