With the win, Kingsford advances its record to 24-4 on the season. The Flivvers travel to Escanaba (Escanaba, MI) to face the Eskymos in a Big North test on Tuesday, October 22. The Eskymos go into the test with a record of 14-7. Escanaba won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI)

The Copper Kings now sport a 21-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Houghton for a Western Peninsula test on Tuesday, October 22. Calumet will face a Gremlins squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI). The Gremlins record now stands at 13-16.
