In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Carrollton Cavaliers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Ogemaw Heights Falcons.

The Cavaliers (18-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-14 record. In their last challenge, Standish-Sterling was nudged by St. Louis (St. Louis, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Falcons play the Atlanta Huskies (Atlanta, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Ogemaw Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 17-9 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 21-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Alanson (Alanson, MI).
