In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Glidden-Ralston Wildcats.
The Crusaders (22-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Audubon (Audubon, IA). The Wheelers enter the non-league challenge with a 8-21 record. In their last challenge, Audubon was beaten by IKM/Manning (Manning, IA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 21. Glidden-Ralston will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record. The Gaels enter the challenge with a 17-11 record after their 2-1 league win over Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA).
