In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Forest Park Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Marquette Redmen.

The Trojans (29-5) will now prepare for their challenge against West Iron County (Iron River, MI). The Wykons come into the non-league challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, West Iron County beat Norway (Norway, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Redmen play the Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI) in a Great Northern U.P. challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. Marquette will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI).
