Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Forreston advances its record to 13-16 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Annawan (Annawan, IL) to encounter the Braves/Bravettes in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 19. The Braves/Bravettes go into the battle with a record of 9-13. Annawan lost 2-0 in their recent league battle against Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL)

The Panthers now own a 11-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mendota for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 19. Putnam County will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 6-18.
