Kansas High School Volleyball - Garden City over Liberal

In Saturday's league challenge, the host Garden City Buffaloes volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Liberal Redskins.

The Buffaloes (20-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Great Bend (Great Bend, KS). The Panthers come into the Western Athletic challenge with a 29-2 record. In their last challenge, Great Bend beat Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Redskins meet the Hays Indians (Hays, KS) in a Western Athletic challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Liberal will attempt to upgrade on its 4-28 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 25-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Junction City (Junction City, KS).
