The Midland Christian Mustangs topped the host Grapevine Faith Christian Lions volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Saturday's league game.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Trinity Christian Lions (Lubbock, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 1 game, on Tuesday, October 22. Midland Christian will attempt to advance on its 23-10 season record. The Lions go into the game with a 17-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX).

The Lions (2-18) will now prepare for their game against Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 4-19 record. In their last game, Fort Worth Christian went down by Grace Prep (Arlington, TX), 3-1, in a league game.
