In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Lansing Catholic Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Catherine of Siena Academy Athletes.
The Cougars (29-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Charlotte (Charlotte, MI). The Orioles come into the Capital Area - White challenge with a 1-24 record. In their last challenge, Charlotte lost by Lakewood (Lake Odessa, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Athletes play the Okemos Wolves (Okemos, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, October 20. St. Catherine of Siena Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 18-13 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 21-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Dow (Midland, MI).
