In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Lisbon Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Springville Orioles.

The Lions (29-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Durant (Durant, IA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 14-12 record. In their last challenge, Durant lost by Regina (Iowa City, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Orioles play the Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA) in a challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Springville will attempt to upgrade on its 22-8 season record. The Stars come into the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to North Cedar (Stanwood, IA).
