In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Santa Fe Indian Braves volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Tohatchi Cougars.

The Braves (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Dons come into the 3A District 2 challenge with a 16-2 record. In their last challenge, West Las Vegas lost by St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. Tohatchi will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 3-0 league win over Newcomb (Newcomb, NM).
