The Highmore/Harrold Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.

The Pirates now possess a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wolsey-Wessington for a non-league game on Saturday, October 2. Highmore/Harrold will meet a Warbirds team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lake Preston (Lake Preston, SD). The Warbirds record now stands at 13-2.

The Rebels (14-5) will now prepare for their game against Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 8-7 record. In their last game, Wessington Springs was dropped by Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD), 3-1, in a non-league game.
