In Monday's league battle, the visiting Foxcroft Academy Ponies soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Maine Central Institute Huskies.
The Ponies (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bucksport (Bucksport, ME). The Golden Bucks go into the Class C - North battle with a 10-0 record. In their last battle, Bucksport nipped Calais (Calais, ME), 10-0, in a league battle.
The Huskies (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Gardiner (Gardiner, ME). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Gardiner nipped Cony (Augusta, ME), 11-3, in a league battle.
