Maine High School Soccer - Katahdin knocks off Piscataquis

Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME), 8-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Southern Aroostook Warriors (Dyer Brook, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Katahdin will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Ashland (Ashland, ME).

The Pirates now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee Academy for a 8 Person - North challenge on Wednesday, October 4. Piscataquis will confront a Pandas team coming off a 6-1 league win over Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Pandas record now stands at 6-3.
