The Wakefield Wolverines volleyball team scored 1 points and limited the host Athens Drive Jaguars to 0 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Monday.
The Wolverines now have a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Knightdale for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 3. Wakefield will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-16.
The Jaguars (2-12) will now prepare for their game against Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Pride enter the non-league game with a 13-2 record. In their last game, Leesville Road was nudged by Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
