The Randolph-Henry Statesmen held off the host Buckingham Knights volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Statesmen now have a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cumberland for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 3. Randolph-Henry will confront a Dukes team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA). The Dukes record now stands at 9-2.
The Knights (0-10) will now prepare for their test against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA). The Chargers enter the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Lunenburg Central was nudged by Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
