The Comets now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fuquay - Varina for a non-league game on Thursday, October 5. Clayton will meet a Bengals team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Garner (Garner, NC). The Bengals record now stands at 1-13.

The Bulldogs (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 15-3 record. In their last game, Corinth Holders defeated South Garner (Garner, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
