The Warhill Lions topped the host Poquoson Islanders volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.

The Lions now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Kent for a non-league test on Thursday, October 5. Warhill will confront a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 league win over Grafton (Yorktown, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 12-4.

The Islanders (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Tabb gained a win over York (Yorktown, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
