The crowd at Monday's league test between the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) and the visiting Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC), saw Wheatmore's soccer squad beat Providence Grove by a count of 5-1.

The Warriors now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Trinity for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A test on Wednesday, October 4. Wheatmore will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-2 league Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Providence Grove drops to 0-12 on the season. The Patriots travel to East Davidson (Thomasville, NC) to meet the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 3. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-6. East Davidson won 6-1 in their recent league test against Lexington (Lexington, NC)
