With the triumph, Effingham County improves its record to 20-3 on the year. The Rebels host South Effingham (Guyton, GA) to clash with the Mustangs in a 6A Region 2 game on Wednesday, October 4. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 20-4. South Effingham won 12-3 in their recent league game against Lakeside (Evans, GA)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) in a 6A Region 2 game, on Thursday, October 5. Evans will attempt to improve on its 6-19 season record. The Rebels come into the game with a 20-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to South Effingham (Guyton, GA).
