Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 17-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaGrange for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 5. Northside will battle a Grangers squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA). The Grangers record now stands at 13-10.
