The Montrose Blue Jays softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Leeton Bulldogs to 0 in the Blue Jays non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Montrose moves its record to 13-7 on the year. The Blue Jays travel to Humansville (Humansville, MO) to clash with the Tigers in a Class 1 District 4 game on Friday, October 6. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 3-16.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Pilot Grove Tigers (Pilot Grove, MO) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 3. Leeton will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 5-9 record after their 16-1 league loss to Fayette (Fayette, MO).
