The Lindbergh Flyers the host Marquette Mustangs softball squad by a final score of 11-8 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Flyers (18-7) will now prepare for their battle against Pattonville (Maryland Heights, MO). The Pirates go into the non-league battle with a 1-12 record. In their last battle, Pattonville was routed by Parkway North (St. Louis, MO), 19-4, in a non-league battle.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Parkway West for a Class 4 District 3 battle on Wednesday, October 4. Marquette will meet a Longhorns squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Webster Groves (Webster Groves, MO). The Longhorns record now stands at 16-8.
