St. James Tigers (St. James, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Newburg Wolves (Newburg, MO), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Crocker for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 5. St. James will face a Lions squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Waynesville (Waynesville, MO). The Lions record now stands at 6-11.

With the loss, Newburg falls to 0-8 on the campaign.
