Parkview Panthers (Lilburn, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Newton Rams (Covington, GA), 10-1 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 14-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brookwood for a 7A Region 4 challenge on Wednesday, October 4. Parkview will face a Broncos squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Broncos record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Newton falls to 3-20 on the campaign. The Rams travel to South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA) to face the Comets in a 7A Region 4 challenge on Wednesday, October 4. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 8-13. South Gwinnett won 23-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Berkmar (Lilburn, GA)
