Parkway Central Colts (Chesterfield, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host University City Lions (St. Louis, MO), 23-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Colts now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they host Parkway North for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Parkway Central will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 19-4 non-league win over Pattonville (Maryland Heights, MO). The Vikings record now stands at 6-17.

With the loss, University City falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Lions host Mehlville (St. Louis, MO) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 4. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 3-21. Mehlville lost 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Orchard Farm (St. Charles, MO)
