Roosevelt Roughriders (Johnstown, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Skyline Falcons (Longmont, CO), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Roughriders now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Niwot for a 4A Longs Peak challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Roosevelt will face a Cougars squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Frederick (Frederick, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Skyline falls to 1-19 on the campaign. The Falcons host Mountain View (Loveland, CO) to face the Mountain Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 3. The Mountain Lions enter the challenge with a record of 1-20. Mountain View lost 16-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Greeley West (Greeley, CO)
